I have run the kind
of business I now advise.

I work at the intersection of business strategy, financial planning, acquisitions, multi-site operations and digital product development. My perspective comes from operating businesses and building systems, not simply advising from the sidelines.

Much of my experience comes from leading and developing multi-location consumer and service businesses in Sweden. In those companies margin is earned shift by shift, a new location is a serious capital decision, and the owner's time is always the scarcest resource. That shapes how I look at any business: where the money is actually made, what the next commitment costs, and who will carry it out on a normal Tuesday.

Why i8 next exists

Sweden has generous support for founders, and Umeå has strong programmes and networks. The gap I kept seeing came after the good advice: the financial model nobody had time to build, the weekly operating rhythm that never got going, the prototype that stayed on a whiteboard. i8 next is set up for that stage. It is independent and deliberately small, so the person you talk to is the person who does the work. The name is pronounced "Iterate Next".

How the work runs

• One written question first. Most stuck decisions turn out to be unclear questions. We agree the question in writing before any analysis.
• Assumptions you can challenge. Every model comes with a list of its assumptions, their sources and a test of which ones change the answer.
• Something working, early. Where a question can be answered by building a small prototype or running a pilot, that comes before a long document.
• A routine your team keeps. Operating improvements are designed to keep running after I step back.
• Direct referrals. If you need a lawyer, auditor, tax adviser or engineering team instead, I will say so early.

Who I work with

Owner-led Swedish SMEs, and international founders building companies here. I work in English, alongside Swedish-speaking teams. The base is Umeå, with work in person locally and remotely across Sweden.

What i8 next does not do

It is one person, so there is no agency team of juniors on your account. It is not an incubator, a fund or a regulated investment intermediary. It does not raise money for you, introduce investors or give investment advice. The work is helping you decide well and then carrying the decision out with you.
